Day Without Shoes – April 23rd

TOMS is a very philanthropic company that has given over 35 million pairs of shoes away to children in need, mostly in poverty-stricken countries around the world. There are still millions of children with no shoes that are in danger of contracting fatal illnesses, such as podoconiosis, due to their feet being unprotected. Many children suffer and even die every single day from these diseases. TOMS is a business that sells shoes, and for every pair of shoes sold, they donate a brand new pair to a child in need.

Want to be a part of this incredible movement? Join us on the Fulton-Montgomery Community College campus for the One Day Without Shoes event on April 23rd to raise awareness and funds to help these children! All you have to do is go one day without shoes; come barefoot! There will be merchandise, raffles to win free stuff, amazing food, fun games, foot tattoos and painting, make-your-own crafts, pedicures, and a group picture that will be published in the local newspaper and on the FMCC website.

What YOU can do:

  • Find out what to wear on the day –  Internet Marketing Blog
